JM-Ashok reached 3♠, a bit too high, and lost 100. The par is 4♦ by EW, however, it was difficult to reach there after Prabhakaran opened 2♥. The final contract, 3♥ by Prabhakaran should have gone down two but I made a crucial defensive error. I led ♥Ace and shifted correctly to a Diamond. Prabhakaran won, cashed the ♥Jack and played back a Diamond. I won and continued with yet another Diamond. Prabhakaran ruffed. So far so good. When he next played a Spade from hand, I failed to go up with the King, lazily placing the Ace with my partner. That was curtains for the defence!
